The NCC was established as the UK trade body representing the collective interests of four product sectors - tourer, motorhome and caravan holiday home, and residential park homes. Over the years, Chaos has worked on TV advertising campaigns and campaign creation for their annual retail shows.

In a bid to change perceptions of the ever decreasing desire to tow a caravan, Chaos were asked to pitch a digital campaign to encourage uptake for the future. With such a broad brief Chaos endeavored to obtain as much research and understanding to be able to present an inspiring digital campaign which answered the insights of ‘family life and togetherness’.

There was a clear insight that with our ever increasing busy lifestyles family had less and less time to spend with their family and was ultimately ‘always on’.

The draw of a wholesome life with more balance and time to spent when living more in the moment was encouraged with a CTA of visiting the up and coming Caravan and camping show at the NEC.

Following the unprecedented positivity around the campaign the NCC requested make varying edits of the brand film to create a TV AD campaign as well as utilizing the concept for online and various digital advertising.

Chaos lands leading caravan show

Chaos not only understood the brief better than the competition but also praised for creatively breaking away, by focusing on the experience rather than giving the products centre stage.

The show management wanted to inspire audiences about caravan and camping holidays, and get them to take a fresh look at the freedoms and benefits on offer.

With 2 events a year, Chaos needed to create 2 engaging campaigns that attracted the 2 separate audiences to come to the event year-on-year. One that engaged and intrigued avid camping and caravanning fans with the latest models and trends. While the other showed potential families that the NEC was the place to go for first time campers!
